Suggest a better description1) Grease your swiss roll tin in addition to lining it with baking paper. And then preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius or gas mark 7.
2) Use a bowl to whisk ogether the eggs and sugar together, until it forms a pale and thick mixture.
3) Carefully sift the flour into the egg and sugar mixture and fold it in gently, trying to retain as much are into the mixture as possible.
4) Then pour the mixture into the swiss roll tin and evenly spread it out. Before placing it into over and baking it for 10 minutes.
5) Prepare another piece of baking paper and dust with icing sugar. Once the sponge has come out of the oven turn it of of the tin onto the baking paper. Carefully peel the paper off of the bottom.
6) After, roll the sponge with the paper and leave to stand for 2 to 3 minutes. Then unroll it, being careful.
7) Spread the sponge with jam of your choice, or perhaps lemon curd, then reroll the sponge. Ensuring it is tightly wrapped in the baking paper for it doesn't u roll. Then unwrap the baking paper.
8) use a knife to then trim the two ends off the roll and follow by dusting the top of it with icing sugar( using a sieve).
