Imens hakkes citronskallen fint og blandes med cremefraichen. Smag til med salt og peber. Riv hvidløgsfeddet ned i dressingen og rør sennep i.
Når citronerne er karamelliserede, presses saften ned i dressingen. Til sidst røres olivenolie i dressingen. Dressingen serveres eksempelvis som tilbehør til forskellig slags salat.
