Spicy Dr. Pepper Pulled pork
Take pork shoulders rub generously with Head Country Seasoning. Brown on all sides. I did mine on the grill for 30 minutes each.
Peel onion and quarter them and put the on the bottom of the cooker.
Put shoulders in slow cooker on top of onions. Fat side up.
Open cans of peppers put on top of
of roasts.
Open Dr. Pepper pour over roasts.
Rub brown sugar over the top of roasts. What falls off of roasts mix with liquid.
Add a pitcher of water to pot.
Cook for 6 hrs. at 300 degrees.
Check ever so often. Check for tenderness if it doesn't pull apart. Flip roasts cook another 30 minutes
until it pulls apart.
When done turn off let rest 30 minutes. Pull apart roasts and remove fat. Chop up. Put in a crock pot pour a little sauce over it. Eat whenever.
