Suggest a better descriptionFry bacon in 12 inch Dutch oven, when half done, add onions and sauté. Put potatoes in oven and stir well ( should be sliced evenly, 1/4 inich thick) salt and pepper (use more than you normally would) check every 15 minutes and turn potatoes with a spatula, and salt and pepper again. Add 1 to 2 cans mushroom soup after 45 minutes and mix in . Grate or slice cheese and put on top if desired. The potatoes should be done after 1 hour of total cook time. ( check with fork)
