Suggest a better descriptionChop pecans rather coarsely. Work or cream butter (margarine) and shortening together until smooth. Beat in the confectioners powdered sugar gradually. Stir in the flour throughly and add vanilla and pecans. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonsful onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake in 325 degree preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until they are a delicate, light brown. Makes 4 dozen.
