Great winter soup!
1. Put a medium, non-stick, lidded pan on a medium to high heat
2. Heat the oil in a saucepan
3. Fry the Bacon until the fat begins to run
4. Stir in:
Carrots / Celery / Onions
5. Toss them around until brown around the edges
6. Add:
Lentils / Tomatoes / Garlic / Chicken stock
7. Bring to the boil and then reduce heat and simmer on lowest heat for 45minutes
8. Add the Cabbage and cook for a further 15 minutes
9. Just before serving stir in the parsley
