Suggest a better descriptionSkin membrane off back of ribs. In ziplock bags combine cider, salt, garlic, and pepper. Add ribs and Slosh around until salt is dissolved. Place in fridge overnight.
Remove from liquid and blot dry with paper towel.
Apply rub to ribs (bone side first)
Start grill on Smoke. Smoke ribs meat side up for 3 hours. Remove ribs. Set grill temp to 225.
Place ribs meat side down on double layer of aluminum foil and cover with barbecue sauce. Close up foil sealing edges and cook for additional 2 hours.
Carefully remove ribs from foil and place back on grill grate meat side up. Apply barbecue sauce on top and cook 30-60 minutes until sauce "tightens"
