Don't be stingy on the figs!
Thaw frozen puff pastry. Roll out into a 14 x 16-inch sheet about 1/4-inch thick. Cut out 6-inch rounds. Make a 1/2-inch thick fold around the edges of the rounds. Fill the inner circle with fig slices. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Dot each with a little butter and sprinkle with about 1 tablespoon sugar. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and the butter and sugar have formed a syrup.
