Suggest a better descriptionPreheat oven to 350 deg.
Melt sugar and water in saucepan until it turns golden. Remove from heat, add butter and pour in pan you are going to use for the flan.
Pour everything into a blender and blend one or two minutes until all is incorporated.
Strain mixture over pan.
Add shredded coconut.
Place in oven in a large pan with hot water. Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake 60 minutes.
Refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
