2. Grease pan.
3. Combine first 4 ingredients.
4. Dredge the dates with 1/2 cup of flour mixture.
5. Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
6. Add eggs one at a time, beat well after each addition.
7. Gradually stir in flour mixture.
8. Add dates and walnuts.
9. Stir until completely combined.
10. Pour batter onto pan.
11. Bake for 10 minutes.
12. Lower heat to 300 degree F.
13. Bake for 35 minutes or until done.
14. Cool on wire rack for 20 minutes and cut into bars.
15. Wrap individually with foil or cellophane wrap.
