Combine the first 9 ingredients and mix well. Shape into small balls and place on a well greased oven tray. Bake in a hot oven for 15 minutes until brown or fry in hot oil approx 10 minutes and then drain.
Combine the rest of ingredients in a saucepan. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. stirring frequently. Add meatballs and cook a further 10 minutes over low heat. Alternately serve sauce separately over meatballs.
