Poke 10 holes in the roast and stuff into holes Add extra to crock pot
Place roast and all remaining ingredients into crock pot
Cook on low for 8 hours
Remove roast from crock pot and allow to cool slightly
While roast cools, strain broth and add it to a small sauce pan, bring to a boil
Boil liquid for 10 min to allow it to reduce. This is the Au Jus for sandwiches
Shred roast with two forks or by hand
Slice open rolls , butter and salt with garlic salt and toast them slightly under broiler
Add shredded beef to rolls and top with cheese.
Return to broiler until cheese is melted and bubbly
Serve with Au jus.
