Suggest a better descriptionBoil chicken breasts. Remove to cool. Reserve stock. Mix together flour, baking powder, salt. Add in shortening and milk. Beat egg and add in with melted margarine. Roll out a handful of the dough on flour. Bring stock back to boiling. Keeping a lot of the flour on the dough, pinch off small pieces of the dough into the boiling water. Continue rolling out dough until all is used. Shred the chicken breasts and add to pot. Add pepper to taste. Reduce heat and cook until dumplings are cooked through and sauce has thickened.
