Suggest a better descriptioncream butter and brown sugar. add dry ingredients in order given. mixing well. prepare fruit filling. pat half of dough into greased 9 inch square baking dish. using 2 forks distribute fruit filling over dough. spring remaining dough over filling, lightly pressing down. bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown. cut into squares or bars.

toss 6 oz dried fruit of your choice with 2 tbsp flour. add 1/4 cup each light brown sugar and marmalade. mix with fork.
