Although this sauce is super-simple, care muse be taken not to burn the garlic. Burnt garlic will make the sauce bitter.
1. In a saucepan or skillet, warm olive oil over medium-low heat. Add garlic, parsley, and red pepper flakes. Cook, stirring often, for 4 to 5 minutes or until garlic has softened.
2. Remove from heat and cool slightly before using in recipes. Excess sauce can be tossed with pasta and Parmesan or refrigerated for later use.
