Suggest a better descriptionPreheat oven to 300 F. Cut bread into 1/2-inch cubes. Melt margarine in a shallow baking pan. Add bread cubes, toss lightly to coat. Sprinkle with paprika and garlic salt (* not included in sodium nutrient content). Bake 20 minutes or until cubes are dry and browned. Croutons may be stored in an airtight container for salads and soups. Yield 1 1/2 cups. 2 tb serving - 18 calories, free food .4 gm protein, .8 gm fat, 2.3 gm carbohydrate, 31 mg * sodium, 5.2 mg potassium, .1 gm fiber, 0 cholesterol Source: Am. Diabetes Assoc.
