Suggest a better description1. Cut bread into 1-1/2-inch-thick slices, or split lengthwise. 2. Blend together butter, garlic, and oregano. Spread on bread. Sprinkle with cheese. 3. Broil until top is light brown and bubbly, 2 to 3 minutes. Makes about 12 slices, or two half-loaves. Microwave Version 1. Complete as directed in steps 1 and 2 above. 2. Place cut sides of bread back together to form loaf. Wrap in paper towel. 3. Microwave on 50% power until heated through, 30 to 60 seconds. Be careful not to overheat bread or it will get tough.
