Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Heat the molasses until boiling point and pour over later mixture. Sift together the shortening, flour, baking soda, ginger and salt. Mix it well and chill. Shape 1/4 mixture, roll very thin, cut with small round cutter. Bake until crispy and dry (8-10 mins)
