She has given me several recipes and I usually have the nerve to print them for you. While on tour with my last cookbook, the one on cooking with wine, I told a reporter, "I put wine in everything but waffles." Ginny heard about this remark and called me. "You clown, why dont you put wine in waffles?" said she with her usual tact and charm. She offered me the following recipe. It is delicious. Add a few tablespoons of Cointreau or orange liqueur to the basic waffle batter. Serve the waffles with whipped cream into which you have grated orange peel. Such a breakfast. And this is my doctors wife! From
