Brown meat on all sides.
Add tomato paste, vinegar, water, cinnamon, onion, garlic, pepper, cloves and salt. Bring to a boil. When boiling, reduce heat to a simmer and cook for two hours, stirring occasionally.
Serve over garlicky bowtie pasta.
