Yummiest green beans around. Sometimes it comes together perfectly and is delicious! Sometimes I've missed. Not quite sure why. Might be if I add too much water.
Saute 1 – 2 onions in olive oil until golden. Put in pot with big bag of cut green beans, water, and 1 – 2 cans tomato sauce. Salt/pepper to taste. Cook until done.
Only add enough water to barely cover it (you can always add more). Taste after each time you salt to avoid putting too much n.
I've used other beans, fresh, long frozen. I usually now stick to frozen cut green beans
