Moms green chili
Roast a pork shoulder at 300 degrees for 35-40 minutes a pound.
I season with chili powder, garlic, cumin. I always cube the meat and add after the chili simmers for a while.
Sautée one chopped vellow onion in olive oil, add 4-5 chopped cloves of garlic.
Add one can diced tomatoes
One box of simple truth bone broth.
One tbs of better than boullion (chicken)
Purée 2 large cans of whole green chili's and add to pot.
I also rough chop fresh roasted green chilis (10-12 ) and add to pot ladd 1tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp cumin
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3 4 teaspoon oregano
One can cream of chicken soup (optional) it is good without but really good with!
Add in the pork and simmer for about 45 minutes to an hour.
If it is too thick, add more bone broth. I don't add salt at all, some of the soup and broth contain salt.
