Suggest a better descriptionCombine peppers, sugar, and vinegar in a large saucepan. Place over high heat and and stir until mixture comes to a hard boil. Boil for one minute. Remove from heat and stir in fruit pectin. Let set for 5 minutes. At this point, red or green food coloring may be added to give a nicer color. Skim off foam with a metal spoon and pour quickly into sterilized containers. Seal at once with metal lids or parafin may be used.
