Preheat oven to temperature recommended by tater tots producer’s directions

Brown ground beef with onion, season with salt and pepper; drain and add to 9x11 glass cooking dish.

Mix mushroom bisque (8-12 fl oz) with beef and onion to balanced workable consistency, spreading even across dish (optional: thicken mushroom sauce if too thin & add splash of red wine/sherry cook off for at least 1 min)

Top with layer of tater tots and place in oven utilizing directions on tater tot bag.

Once taters are done, Add a layer of shredded cheddar cheese and cook until melted. Wait 5 minutes prior to serving
