Suggest a better description1. In a bowl, dissolve the yeast in the warm water. Add the oil and sugar and let stand for 5 minutes.
2. In a stand mixer, combine the flour, salt, egg and yeast mixture.
3. Using the dough hook, mix until a soft dough forms, then mix 3-5 minutes (or knead by hand).
4. Divide into 12 pieces for hamburger buns or regular hotdog buns, or 8 pieces for foot-long hotdog buns.
5. Roll in to desired shape, place 3-inches apart on a greased baking sheet. Optionally top with sesame seeds.
6. Let rest for 10 minutes.
7. Bake at 425°F for 8-12 minutes or until golden brown.
8. Cool on wire rack.
