Arrange peaches, pears, pineapple, cherries in a 13x9x2-inch baking dish. Heat 3/4 cup brown sugar with applesauce and butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until blended. Pour evenly over fruit. Sprinkle with the 3 tablespoons brown sugar. heat oven to 300 degrees. Bake for 1 hour until hot and bubbly.
