Good basic recipe for hummus
Combine the chickpeas, garlic, lemon juice,tahini,salt,cumin,cayenne ,parsley, and olive oil in the food processor . Blend until smooth and uniform. If the humus is too thick, add 1-2 tablespoons of cooking water from the chickpeas and blend again. Taste an add additional salt and garlic as needed.
