Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Mix in the egg white and then add the molasses and mix.
In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, ginger, cloves, and allspice together. Add the dry ingredients into the wet, mix until well combined.
Add a few tbsps of sugar to a small bowl, using a small cookie scoop drop the dough into the sugar. Roll it into a ball, place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 13-15 minutes, then allow to cool.
While waiting for the cookies to cool, mix together the powdered sugar and heavy cream.
Drop the cookie in the icing and shake to let the excess drip off.
