Suggest a better description1 In a small bowl combine the Italian seasoning. garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper.
2 Rub the spice mix generously over each chicken breast. Set the Instant Pot to the Saute setting and add the olive oil to heat.
3 When the olive oil is hot add the chicken breasts and sear on all sides. Do it in batches if not all the breasts fit. Remove the chicken from the Instant Pot and set aside.
4 Pour the chicken broth into the Instant Pot, then place the trivet inside. Place the chicken on top of the trivet and close the Instant Pot lid.
5 Set the valve to sealing and set the Instant Pot to Manual/High Pressure for 5 minutes.
6 When the time is up, let the Instant Pot release naturally for 10 minutes then release remaining pressure. Open the lid and transfer the chicken to a cutting board or serving platter. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing it or serving.
