In medium bowl, combine eggs, sugar, butter, syrup, vanilla and whiskey. Mix well. Sprinkle chocolate chips over bottom of unbaked pie shell and add pecans. Pour remaining ingredients over chocolate chips and pecans. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Set aside to cool. Makes approximately 6-8 servings.
