Nice rustic cornbread with a little kick! Like it spicy? Add more jalapenos.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a bowl, combine the first six ingredients. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, buttermilk and butter. Add to the dry ingredients and stir just until moistened. Stir in jalapenos. Pour into a greased 9-in. baking pan.
Bake at 400 degrees F for 20-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cut into squares or wedges. Serve warm.
