We had these while in Hawaii. We liked them so much that we got the recipe. Now Jim makes them. They are great in the summer.
In a 2 quart pitchet, Pour in about 45 oz. Of juice ( not quite half of the bottle )
Add 11 oz. Of the light (clear ) rum
Add 4 oz. Of the triple sec.
Add 3 oz. Lime juice
Add a splash of grenadine for color
NOTE: DO NOT ANY OF THE DARK RUM TO THE 2 QUART CONTAINER
Mix with a spoon
Pour into highball glass with ice. (ADD A SPLASH OF DARK RUM) . TASTE. If to sweet, add more juice to the pitcher.
If to tart add more of the triple sec to the pitcher.
