Boil potatoes in large pot until just tender. Drain and transfer to a large bowl.
Add sour cream and butter and mash roughly with a fork. Add the chicken, broccoli, bacon and 1 1/2 cup cheese. mix to combine.
Transfer to a 2 1/2 qt baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 20-25 minutes at 425 until cheese is bubbly.
