These peanut butter cup topped-brownies are a perfect kids recipe. Not only are they delicious to eat, but they can make most of the recipe by themselves, with only a little help from an adult.
Preheat oven to 350 deg F.
Stir together first 3 ingredients in a big bowl until blended. Spoon batter into a lightly greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 deg F for 23 minutes or just until center is set.
While the brownies are baking, unwrap the peanut butter cups, and chop them. Remove baking pan from the oven using oven mitts, and place on a wire rack. Top brownies with chopped peanut butter cups. Return pan to oven using oven mitts, and bake 2 more minutes. Remove pan from the oven using oven mitts, and cool completely on a wire rack. Cut brownies into squares.
