Soak bread in milk.
Add meats to bowl. Add diced onion, parsley, salt, pepper and butter. Squeeze milk from bread and crumble into meat mixture.
Combine all ingredients thoroughly.
Use 1/2 cup measure to size balls. Roll ball of meat mixture in palm. Then roll in bread crumbs and press into oval shape in palm. Place on tray lined with wax paper and press down to keep patties thin.
Fry in canola oil at low to medium temperature so that meat cooks thoroughly (about 10 min each side). Place cooked Kotlaiti in tray lined with paper towels to drain.
