Cook onion, garlic and cumin over medium heat. Add meat and brown. Add tomatoes and their liquid, chili powder, oregano and salt. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add tomato paste if needed (too runny). Stir in beans and reheat if necessary.
Serve with:
Shredded Mexican Cheese
Diced Avocados
Minced Onion
Yogurt or Sour Cream
Bread
