Cream Lard/ (butter) and sugar.
Stir in beaten egg, molasses, and citron.
Sift dry ingredients. Combine alternately with wet ingredients.
Stir in nuts.
Store overnight in refrigerator.
Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness and cut into 2 X 3-inch rectangle.
BAKE 375 FOR 10 MINUTES.
When cooled ice them with frosting
