Suggest a better descriptionIn non stick fry pan over medium heat, cook almonds and 2 tablespoons sugar, stirring constantly until sugar adheres to almonds. Pour onto waxed paper to cool. Mix vegetable oil through salt and pepper, whisk and refrigerate. ln large salad bowl, mix lettuce, celery, bell pepper, green onions, drained cold mandarin oranges and sugared almonds. Pour dressing on top and toss. Serve immediately.
Best served cold and immediately after dressing as it will wilt. Wonderful on hot summer days.
