Suggest a better description1. Place olive oil in a medium saucepan.
2. Heat oil on medium heat. Minced shallots. Cook til shallots become transparent. Be careful not to burn.
3. Add minced garlic and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
4. Add white wine and cook for 10 minutes.
5. Add tomatoes, purée, salt, pepper, and basil.
6. Continue to simmer for at least 20 minutes.
**if sauce seems too acidic add 1/8 teaspoons of baking soda.
Can add 1/2 teaspoon of crushed red pepper to make a delicious Diablo sauce!!!!
