Melt 1/4 cup oleo (margarine) while hot add
1 cup brown sugar add
1 egg + 1 teaspoon vanilla beat till fluffy. Sift together 1 cup flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder + 1/4 teaspoon salt. Add to first mixture and 1 small sack chocolate chips and 3/4 cup chopped pecans. Put 8" sq greased pan.
Bake 350 F - 20 minutes. Cool and cut in squares
