Peel, cube and rinse potatoes, Quartering on the russets and make golds about the same size.
Add potatoes to a pot, and fill it with cold water just over the top of the potatoes.
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer.
Cook until tender but still firm. Drain and return to stove over low heat to dry for 1 to 2 minutes.
Add butter, Parmesan cheese, Pepper, Garlic and Bacon to mixer bowl and mix for about 30 seconds
Add potatoes and heavy cream to the bowl . Start mixer on low speed and mix for about 1.5 minutes Scrape the sides, and mix for another 1.5-2.5 minutes while slowly adding milk to desired consistency.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Cook potatoes last. You can peel and cube the potatoes ahead just add them to the pot with cold water to keep them from browning.
Add about one tablespoon of salt for every half pound of potatoes.
