This can be served over rice, egg noodles, potatoes, or bread.
Beat egg in a bowl, then add the milk and stir. Soak the egg slices in the egg / milk mixture. Add the meat and onion, nutmeg, pepper, salt, and garlic powder. Mix together. Form the mixture into meatballs and brown in a hot pan. Remove meatballs from the pan and place in a casserole. Discard grease. In the same pan place the cream and soup, stirring. Brown the cream mixture slightly. Pour over the meatballs. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes to one hour.
