It's the alomond powder that makes these "petit four" a treat for your tongue. They are like candy floss...handle with care because they are sensitive to the touch. Add or reduce sugar as you may because then you can cover them up or fill them in with caramel, chocolate or jam or anything that takes your fancy...ENJOY!
**don't in the butter mix too much it might split**
Mix in the butter with powdered sugar and the oil until it gets creamy
Ground the almonds until they become powdered and mix them in to the batter with the powdered milk and coconut
Add in the vanilla extract and raising agent
Slowly start adding in some flour until in starts coming together and forms a dough
The dough shoudn't be tough but not greasy either.
I shaped the dough into SILICONE MOLDS and it formed lovely heart shaped cookies that you could later fill in with whatever you like.
