Suggest a better descriptionPlace half the cabbage, jalapeno, carrots and red pepper in a bowl. Add salt, pepper and lime juice and stir well. Stir in mayo and let sit for 30 minutes. There will be liquid at the bottom of the bowl. Add more cabbage and combine until, the liquid is absorbed. Let sit for 15 minutes, then repeat that step. At this point the cabbage should be coated and the dressing should not be thin. Add seasoning as needed and add mayo if the mixture is not dressed enough. Refrigerate. When ready to serve, add avocado and cilantro and stir to combine.
