A quick way to prepare ripe or overripe bananas for a pleasant dessert.
Peel and slice banana into a single serve bowl (bout one pint capacity.
Add honey and juice to taste
Cover with plastic film and place on a saucer
Nuke for about Minute and 20 to thirty seconds
Either allow to cool and serve , or serve immediately with a dollop of vanilla ice cream.
Since it is quick and easy to prepare single servings, I prefer to do it that way . Doing multiple servings at one time is tricky unless you always serve the same number of desserts. This is clearly a basic recipe, you can augment with roasted nuts, brown sugar, maple syrup, rum, liqueur,
molasses etc. to suit your taste.
