In 8" square glass or microwave-safe dish, microwave butter at high power for 40-60 secs or until melted. Stir in vanilla and sugar; mix well. Stir in oats; mix well. Firmly press mixture into pan. Microwave at high power for 5 mins. Let cool and cut into squares.
