Suggest a better description1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Unroll crescent rolls, and separate each dough portion along center perforation to form 4 rectangles; press diagonal perforations to seal.
3. Stir together butter, brown sugar, pecans (optional), sugar and cinnamon. Spread evenly over 1 side of each dough rectangle.
4. Roll up, jelly-roll fashion, starting at long end. Using a serrated knife, gently cut each log into 6 (1 inch thick) slices. SEE HINT BELOW.
5. Place slices, 1/4 inch apart, into 2 lightly greased (8 inch) cake pans.
6. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-18 minutes or until golden. Remove from oven & cool for 5 minutes.
ICING
1. Stir together powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract & salt. (If too thick add drips of milk to thin).
2. Drizzle over warm rolls.
HINT:
To make slicing easier, place unbanked rolls on a baking sheet and freeze for 10 minutes.
