Suggest a better descriptionMelt butter with milk on top of a double boiler. Add frosting mix and stir until smooth. Cook over rapidly boiling water for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add peppermint flavoring and green (or your choice of color)food coloring. Drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper, swirling the tops of the candies with the teaspoon. Keep candy over hot water while dropping wafers. If mixture thickens, add a few drops of hot water to thin. Cool until firm. Makes 5 dozen wafers.
