Step 1
Thinly slice the flank steak into strips.
Step 2
Add together the flank steak slices and your cornstarch to a large resealable bag. Then, shake it thoroughly to evenly coat the steak.
Step 3
Then, add the olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, water, brown sugar, and carrots into the slow cooker. Next, combine it all together . Then, add in the now coated flank steak slices and mix it all together until everything is evenly coated in the sauce.
Step 4
Cook in the slow cooker for either 4-5 hours on LOW or 2-3 hours on HIGH, you can tell that it is done when the flank steak is cooked through and tender. Serve this meal over rice and sprinkle with green onions.
