Suggest a better descriptionCombine dates, water, soda, and butter. Let cool. Beat eggs and sugar and add remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly and bake in a moderate oven 40 minutes at 350.
Topping: Boil dates, sugar,water 3 minutes. Add vanilla and nuts. Cool and spread on top of pudding. Cut in squares and serve with whip cream.
